Our gallows brackets are manufactured from solid PVC polymer, designed for strength, durability, and ease of installation. Follow the steps below to ensure a safe and secure fitting for porches, canopies, and bay windows.

Preparation
- Check that the wall surface is clean, solid, and suitable for fixings, (Recommended 4x Fixing SXR 10x 100)
- Measure and mark the intended bracket positions, ensuring both sides are level and evenly spaced.
- Use a spirit level to confirm alignment before drilling.

Positioning the Brackets
- Hold each bracket against the wall at the marked position.
- Mark through the fixing holes onto the wall.
- Remove the bracket and drill suitable holes for your chosen wall fixings (fixings not supplied).

Fixing the Brackets
- Insert wall plugs or anchors into the drilled holes.
- Secure the brackets firmly with appropriate screws or bolts (not supplied).
- Check again with a level to ensure the brackets are aligned correctly.

Mounting the Canopy or Bay Window Frame
- Once the brackets are secure, carefully lift the canopy or bay window frame into place.
- Ensure it sits evenly across both brackets.
- Fix the canopy or frame securely according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

Finishing Touches
- Check all fixings are tight and the structure is secure.
- Seal any joints if required to protect against water ingress.
- Brackets can be painted to match your exterior design, if desired.
