xStep by Step Easy Fitting Instructions – 3 Clip System
- Step 1. Cut the top of the base to length and stick the base to a clean, dust-free floor.
- Step 2.Select the size of clips required, then tap or press the clips into the base spaced equally apart. Most professionals tap them into place using a block and hammer, taking care not to damage the clips.
- Step 3.Press the top onto the clips at the desired angle to complete the installation. If you are unsure about the size of the clip, start with the smallest and work upwards until a satisfactory fit is achieved. You do not need to remove the smaller clips if larger ones are required.
Step by Step Easy Fitting Instructions – Single Clip System
(Supplied with some colours)
- Step 1.Cut the top of the base to length and stick the base to a clean, dust-free floor.
- Step 2.First, try fitting the threshold without the clips, pressing the threshold straight onto the base (this mimics the white clips). If this is not possible, add clips to each of the four grooves which will raise the fitting strip (this mimics the blue clips).
- Step 3.Place the clips into the higher level of the threshold base (this mimics the red clips).
- Step 4.Press the top onto the clips at the desired angle to complete the installation.

If you struggle to put the clips in, angle the clip slightly and use a coin to assist.
