With a 600mm projection and a base constructed from WoodEx—a resilient composite of high-performance polymers and UV-stable colourants—this canopy is finished with a durable GRP roof. Designed for straightforward installation, it can be fitted with just basic tools and DIY skills, making it a practical choice for homeowners.
Like all Our Canopies, the Contemporary Flat is completely maintenance-free. If you’d ever like to refresh its look, the base can be easily repainted using standard household paints.
Lightweight yet impressively strong, standard models have been load tested to withstand more than 750kg of evenly distributed weight. And if our standard sizes don’t quite match your requirements, we can provide tailored options to suit your home.
Often referred to as a flat porch canopy, overdoor canopy, awning, or portico, the Contemporary Door Canopy Kit is proudly manufactured in the UK and has been enhancing entrances across the country.
Each canopy is supplied with fully certified fixings and complete fitting instructions, giving you peace of mind from start to finish.

Delivery Charges
- Delivery: Free UK delivery is included. Our kits are made to order and dispatched in 10-21 days, Flat Canopies 6-8 Weeks.
- If a delivery is missed for any reason, a re-delivery fee will apply (see Failed Deliveries).
- Every canopy is securely wrapped in protective packaging to prevent damage during transport.
Delivery Access
Apex Canopies – Door Canopies
- Delivered on pallets.
- Please tell our sales office about any access constraints (e.g., narrow lanes, overhanging trees) that could affect delivery.
Date & Time of Delivery
- We will email your delivery date; orders ship directly from Apex Canopies.
- Standard delivery window is 08:30–17:00. We cannot guarantee a specific time.
- If you can’t be present, leave a clear note for the driver indicating where to leave the pallet—otherwise the delivery may fail.
Deliveries to gravel driveways require someone onsite; pallets cannot be left unattended on loose surfaces.
Failed Deliveries (Chargeable)
- You (or your representative) must be available to accept and sign for delivery.
- If nobody is available and no written safe-place instruction is left, the delivery may fail and a re-delivery/re-stock fee can be charged.
Damages & Missing Items
- Report any damage or shortages to the driver and sign the paperwork as damaged or missing where possible.
- Contact Syntech Plastics within 24 hours with full details so we can assist.
- Photograph items as delivered on the pallet and email images with your claim to sales@syntechplastics.co.uk.
- We cannot accept claims supported only by photos taken off-pallet, as transit damage cannot be verified.
- Do not install products if you have any concerns (e.g., suspected transit damage). Installed items cannot be refunded or replaced.
Important Return Guidelines
- Returns must be pre-approved by our customer service team.
- Products should be securely packaged for transit back to us.
- We may be unable to accept returns that are damaged due to insufficient packaging.
- Refunds cover the cost of the item only and exclude initial delivery charges.
- Delivery fees are non-refundable under all circumstances.

Delivery to Special Locations
- Scottish Highlands & Islands: Please reach out for a personalised delivery quote.
- Northern Ireland: Extra delivery fees will apply.
- Channel Islands: Additional charges are required.

Custom & Bespoke Orders
- Made-to-measure and specially coloured canopies are non-returnable unless proven faulty.
